If this guy can close the oxygen loop with Algae and a few items of of the shelf equipment, the Russian oxygen generator which was always breaking down on Mir and the ISS is going to look pretty silly. Not to mention Biosphere 2, where IIRC they never got a stable ecology.
Plants to regenerate spacecraft atmospheres were a staple of mid 20th century SF. Perhaps this could be turned into a simple oxygen generator for the eventual Lunar missions.
