Since you insist poverty cannot be found in the US, do you have any information to justify your perspective beyond your own finances?  One would think things like noting how much do medical expenses account for reasons Americans file for bankruptcy (and probably reasons why American bankruptcy law changes to favor the monied), or the average debt Americans carry would be far more relevant factors to consider than any individuals debt.
